Keeping Things Running

Things do not always go as planned. And so it was at The Big Chili when the Director had to leave the event she had planned on running. Thankfully, we are a community of people who step up, who fill in the gap, who do what is needed. Thank you to Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity for making sure volunteer posts were filled all day. And thank you Ares Communication for using The Big Chili as a training ground for disaster relief communication. Your people kept the lines open all day and helped the event flow smoothly.

Thank you specifically to Brian Hutchinson of Habitat, and Nate Walowitz of Ares. Thank you for taking ownership of the event. You are truly appreciated.
